Unless you're this year's nets. Good lord please have the nets lose.

How ironic would it be that CJ helps the Pels screw us out of the pick we traded him for.

While they aren't the team I'll be rooting for in the Playoffs, the Nets don't really bother me. They were traditionally an also ran, but have tried putting super teams together since the move to Brooklyn, that have done nothing but fail. After trading away Harden, they are certainly more likable to me. Wouldn't bother me if they won the whole thing. It would definitely be fun to watch a 7th seed take it all.

The single elimination games, like the ones tonight, are fun.

Playoffs and Tournament are the drivers behind the viewership/revenue stream.
People watch big events, especially when it involves one of their teams.
The NBA wants to use the world soccer model where various tournaments drive the wheel that produces the income.

Let's hope he plays like he did the last time he was in the playoffs.

Who would have thought that the most important game of the year for the blazers would not involve the blazers at all?

I think we all want San Antonio to win more than Spurs fans do.

I just want the damn result and not have to prolong it one more day lol.

But I agree, we may be more invested lmao. I say that sarcastically, of course.

No sarcasm from me. I was checking out some of their boards and half of em want their lottery pick even if Pop lies through his teeth about never building a tanking culture.

while this game on its own won't affect their pick, a win today and a win against LA would put them out of the lottery.

we don't have to worry about that with the Clippers. If they don't make the playoffs they'll be just slightly less disappointing than the Lakers.
