He’s a non smoker but worked at a plant that made shingles for years, so thinking that couldve possibly attributed to it.

Old coaching trick. Passing takes less energy than shooting. Force him to have to create his own shots instead of passing for open layups. Stay close, and beat them at the end.

 

The treatment has improved drastically. I lost my grandmother to lung cancer back in the 90s. She was a smoker. Dad was a smoker. They’re developing new treatments all the time. I hope everything works out for your FIL.

 

They won’t shoot 48 % from three again. Not sure how you can say he coached a good game?
Shoot the three that well and they should have blown the Nuggets out.

 

they should make instructional film on how to use the zone defense from that game.

spo is the best coach in the league.

 

Jokic with 4 assists was crucial for sure but some of those shots could have fallen? Got to give the Heat credit though. They played tough and didn’t quit at all.

 

i would recommend re-watching and paying attention to how they guarded murray/kcp/porter jr off ball.

 

It reminded me of the difference between Miami’s zone and Chauncey’s zone, which gave up wide open corner 3s every possession.

 

I payed plenty of attention.

 

a 1-3-1 should not be this effective at this level. that team works so hard to scramble. and i feel like they switched between defenses every other possession.

that kinda connection only comes from amazing coaching.

 

They go zone off of makes, man to man off misses
