Ha, yeah he probably needs to see if the team that beats him does well and force his way there.

They're down 0-2: if they lose this series he'll have won only 2 playoff series since Golden State and with some stacked rosters. What a dive for his legacy, basically becoming a Melo 2.0

If you don’t feel bad for a world class athlete getting hurt, you’ve never really played sports. True athletes don’t feel that way about others.

Bruce Brown was a great signing.

Denver is impressive. We'll see how it goes. I still think the winner of the Lakers/Warriors series is going to have a huge advantage because of championship experience but I guess we'll see. I don't think it's foolish to call Denver the favorite, I would just still take the field for sure.

He makes his entire team better. Don't think they beat Suns without him. Joker gets my mvp vote

Of course PHX is losing. Their bodies are too light for the high elevation in Denver and they are all floating. Without wings, how can they adjust where they are going?

Are the Suns in legitimate trouble?

Looking at them and seeing they are held to 87 points to yes. They now need to win two in a row at home and may be looking just to make it to a game 7. At which point… I think it might be yikes for Denver.

DEN in 5, or PHX in 7?

Yeah but will Murray go 3-15 (0-9) again?

Suns need a pg to replace CP3 and Simons could be of interest to them.

But they have no assets except an overpaid Ayton to trade for him. I like ayton fine. I don't want to pay my C that much unless his name is jokic or embiid

Ayton is only 24 years old and would beef up our front line big time on both ends. To give up Simons and some would be ok for a player of his caliber, imo.

I wonder if the writers' strike is going to affect how the refs call the games.

Nah, they can always get away with reruns. It’s usually the same crappy calls every game.

It won't effect the commentators much either. It's not like they know what to say anyway.

that's probably a factor, especially with the perceived pressure of a WCF. But this isn't the Nuggets' first playoff rodeo either. The starters for Denver have a combined 196 games of playoff experience. Jeff Green and Bruce Brown have 117 games between them. That's over 300 games of playoff experience in the rotation

Probably. He's not nearly as consistent as his reputation would suggest, especially post-injury.

No. Ayton doesn't have the 'it' factor to be great. He has all the ability to, but he's missing the key ingredient.

There are too many times he's a 1/2-second too slow, or too passive. He may get a little better as he ages, but I don't think he'll ever get to an all-star level.
