This OT for the Wolves is a master class on how NOT to play and the Lakers are lucky and should send a thank you card to Rudy " Jackass " Gobert for getting suspended.

He wouldn't address the defensive issues, but for the right price, I'd be down!

The amount of mistakes and horrible execution in the 4th quarter and OT by both teams have been amazing.

If the Wolves lose on Friday, heads have to roll, don't they?

GM should be on the hot seat, and not just for the Gobert trade. This team has little chemistry. Coaching is a question mark. How much more basketball does Conley have in him?

They'd be stupid to trade KAT; that's a guy you can build around. They might be incompetent, though, to tear the whole thing down and become OKC or Houston. They seem like a mess.

the only tradeable asset they have to recoup some picks or young talent is KAT. ain't nobody touching Gobert.

I'm guessing a team could get Golbert for almost pennies on the dollar in terms of talent exchange. His salary is the problem.

I think his personality is even a bigger problem. I still remember his stunt with touching all the microphones right before COVID.

He can't defend outside the paint, either.

    I wouldn't touch the guy.

They have Edwards. Honestly, he might bring back some good assets. After seeing him tonight, I think he might be fool's gold. He seems like an empty stats guy. He's a guy that might be addition by subtraction.

After the Gobert trade, they've really put themselves in an awful spot.

I think you accurately described why his value is so incredibly low. There is no offer I can think of Portland making for those reasons, combined with the fact they don't have $38m of bad contracts to unload on Minnesota.

It's not baseball where basically you have nine guys playing nine separate games of 1-on-1. People have to work together in basketball and Gobert seems like a knob of the highest order. I wouldn't want him in my locker room or on my bench in a million years.

If they could have him for a minimum contract, he'd be worth the risk. At nearly $40m/year, ain't no way.

Crazy to think what Minnesota gave up to get him.

Even Dame has had games where he went 3 for 17.

Every GM builds around Edwards over KAT

two pretty flawed teams duke it out, toss bricks, and fumble the ball all over the court

and just say no to the idea of KAT as a Blazer. It's easy when you look at his contract:

    upload_2023-4-11_22-36-7.png

Yikes! C's are not worth that kind of money unless they are named Jokic or Embiid. And even those guys are debatable at super-max salaries. Jokic and Embiid combined have 17 seasons in the NBA and between them that have one, that's right, just one, conference finals game win

unless the NBA completely changes direction, investing lots of salary in a big C that isn't an MVP-level player is totally foolish

Why does this feel like just the kind of dumbass move our front office would make?

If you consider the Hawks “deep”, what are the Clippers?
