I wonder how the games would look? You got to figure the Refs would be better. Less crowd influence. You also got to expect the players would play different. Guys that light it up in practice might become superstars?

of course. With no one going out, networks might see record viewership.

i was thinking the same, but on another angle.
Will whistles aNd play callouts echo, creating confusion for players on the court?

what is the lowest attendance record for an nba game of the modern era? 70’ to now?

i might wear a mask And surgical gloves at games. Lol

He's selfish in taking that position. Fans do watch games on the tube also and its for the health protection. Plus, he's an employee of the Lakers so unless the Lakers take his same position he needs to be a big boy and go to work regardless. Needs to justify his existence in the league and his paycheck!

Dame's response would be, however Im ask and how to do my job, I go to work. Its the league thinks its best for the fans Im good with it!

'I ain't playing if I ain't got the fans in the crowd': Basketball icon LeBron James says he won't play in an empty stadium after NBA issues warning to teams to prepare for games without spectators due to coronavirus crisis
    • The NBA wants its teams to prepare to play games without fans if necessary

    • LA Lakers' LeBron James said it's not possible to play in an empty arena

I'm guessing that the league has insurance for "acts of god." If they close the arenas to fans the insurance won't kick in but if the season is canceled the owners will be paid the lost ticket and TV revenue.

Well then the Lakers won't be winning the championship.

So, any games LeBron refuses to play in would be considered “acts of god”, right?

If this happens, how will it affect the teams. Will they reimburse season ticket holders? Will the NBA recoup the team for its monetary losses?
