Still pissed about the Steve Nash injury during the playoffs, a LONG time ago.

NBA courts are like moutain roads with no guard rails. Hockey took care of the problem long ago. Nostalgia won't let major design changes happen anytime soon though. Maybe some well placed air bags would do the trick..sort of a romper room motif for a court..( should have used a green font here)

I could hold more, and the shape of my belly will make for a multitude of different available camera angles...

Umm that they cut it down from 40 camera spots to 24 a few years ago so yes, it's something they've been thinking about for a few years.

This seems like it's nothing to me. Is that extra foot really going to make anyone safer?

Paul George could have used an extra femur... so no, not an extra foot.

Anyone notice how USAB moved back the stanchion and even the benches on the sideline the next game after George's injury? They also moved back camera people behind the same line where the stanchion is. In the preliminary games, the court has looked so much bigger ever since.

Hope this doesn't count as a personal attack but that's the dumbest shit I've ever heard.

Actually It will. It will give the referees more room to back away from the baseline a bit. They should be able to see traveling in the post WAY more (not like it will make them call it). That extra foot of space while simultaneously taking away 4 camera spots will be big IMO.

He also thought Asik would be a fan favorite for his "hard work" and whatever else Lopez is.
