    With Chris Mullin in the Hall of Fame I think it basically makes Melo a lock.

    It's the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame, not the NBA Hall of Fame. Melo makes it in for his college and pro play. Sabonis made the HOF for his international career, not his NBA play.

    Agreed. That is exactly why Mullin is in. His College and his Olympic exploits.

    I don't think Boring vs Exciting plays a factor. If it does then Duncan isn't a HOF lock either.

    ....... WOW. you completely missed my reasoning for saying boring.

    Boring isn't the meta sense of it. Boring is that there's even a discussion about Melo. There shouldn't be.

    Duncan is a first ballot, top 50 all time player. I can't even believe you used him as an example.
