It's too bad the media made us watch Yale rebound balls. They should have been showing Yale's competitive Book Reading team. I heard they went on a 125 page to 80 page run in the final 2 hours.
I honestly understand and mostly agree with what you have been ranting about, by the way. I just like watching basketball, and there are some really fun moments that come out of the tournament. And yes, I like mindless entertainment sometimes.

Yeah, I think a lot of people probably do agree with the sentiment, but we don't live in a society that can do much about it with the technological advances and saturation of media. It is what it is. Doesn't mean I have to like it or watch it. lol.
No? You're complaining about it as an NBA fan when the NBA would suffer without it. Monetizing college sports? You have to make money for the sport to run. How's the monetization a bad thing?
