Any feedback for Hoka vs On Cloud shoes? Not a runner but when I travel I walk many miles in a day. Want to start walking in general too around the hood. I have some Hoka shoes, they are comfy as fuck but kinda look cartoonish. The On shoes look more stylish but I have wide feet and the Hoka comes in widths @OSUBlazerfan ?
I am again working part time at the local Ace Hardware, which requires standing/walking for 6 hours straight. My only complaint is that my feet are killing me at the end of the shift. I have rotated through several types of Nikes and also bought a pair of highly regarded NBs. None of them are the magic bullet. My coworkers all wear the Hokus (and I've seen numerous "runner type" customers wearing them too). They all swear by the Hokus for comfort and I'm looking at going that way myself. They don't sound terribly expensive.......and they can look like Bozo the Clown shoes as long as I can make it out to my car at the end of a shift.......
Got me a pair of these a couple weeks back. Had a pair back in the day. Now they’re way more expensive
My mother searched far and wide for shoes that would give her relief as she had bad hips in her later years when she was still alive and she swore by the generic nurses shoes you can buy at medical supply stores...she said they were the most comfortable shoes for her feet ever.....sometimes shoes for sports aren't the same as shoes for caregivers....they're not fancy but you might check into them..the other trick would be insoles ....get some good insoles. If you see a shop selling nurse scrubs, they may carry those shoes...I think they only come in black or white and they look as generic as a shoe could look...on another note my friend, you may be long oerdue for a good foot massage.
