There's not really any jobs available, at least here. Bush and Congress really screwed us over for a long time.
I'm thinking of submitting an application to Gamestop. The thing is, how do they know what hours I can work? Do I just tell them? I'm not exactly sure how that works.
You give them your resume, and if they like it, they call you. But, since you don't have much experience, call them and keep in touch. Show them you want to work there. If they interview you, they ask what hours you can work. Or sometimes, when you apply, they ask when you can work so they know.
As long as he uses the proper technique and doesn't try to show off and lift something he's not really capable of. I only recommended it for his immediate needs and the perks are solid for a part-time job because of the benefits he'd receive through the union. The current contract the union negotiated for their employees is outstanding. Our delivery guy told me they get $8.00 towards their retirement for every hour they work. It will be some good job experience and a big name to put on his resume. EDIT: Yes you should be able to apply online. I know they are currently hiring because they took over a lot of the business DHL gave up on.
