Into the claims of impropriety. There should obviously be a lot of investigation at the border. Things aren't going as they should.
Methods used by the border patrol to corral unarmed refugees, women and children as if they're cattle....let's start there....Biden said they would investigate it and hold any officer overstepping bounds accountable....there was no need for even physical contact with these folks...they could have been detained with some respect and processed...in the end they were processed....there is zero reason to scare homeless families who are desperate and destitute...this is not the America I want to project to the world. Looked to me like a pretty heavy handed operation given the circumstances...the investigation should sort it out....one photo shows a horseman grabbing the shirt of a refugee while on horseback which is really dangerous...another showed reins wrapped around a refugee...whether intentional or not they somehow surrounded the guy on the ground...we need to make sure we are civil in our approach to humanitarian crisis.
He said there was whipping. I saw and heard him say it on either PBS News Hour or PBS Washington Week, Friday.
Trump lied almost a thousand times a year. I doubt if Biden ever intentionally lies although he does make mistakes here and there. Tell me one of Biden's lies and I'll tell you of multiple Trump lies, what the hell, even without a Biden lie I can recite from memory so many of Trump's lies that I'd be here all day and all night reciting them just from the top of my head.
There was no actual whipping in the videos ive watched and i don't see where you provided a link? Did you mean you HAVE BEEN shown the video?
Any chance you can come up with a transcript or video? I'm not doubting you, just curious about the actual verbiage he used.
I could but it's a lot of work. Can't recall but it was on Friday and either PBS The News Hour or PBS Washington week.
Understood. It is a lot of work. I'm having trouble giving any weight to these claims that Biden lied in some horrible way. Investigation seems like the proper course of action.
I'm sure most of them were....but that's why it's being investigated....it's not that they were doing their job...it's more HOW they were doing their job.....as I mentioned before....I have two ex border patrol in laws in my history that were both racist, macho cops without much patience...don't pretend those guys aren't on the force...doesn't meant there aren't really good border patrol agents...just means there is more than a slight possibilty that some got out of control. At any rate....accountability is necessary...it's not all cut and dried and by the book
All a person has to do is look through the recent posts in here regarding the point in question and then see my answer. Sure, I'll back up my assertion when challenged but my time is too valuable to waste it looking up the same stuff repeatedly. i.e. I'm not going to hold anyone's hand over a point over and over.
