I know this is a rag, but there is at least a video. Take it for what it is. https://nypost.com/2021/09/27/border-agents-could-get-minimal-punishment-for-using-horses/
Asylum is a Human Right: End Title 42. This is inhumane no matter the president in office. Edit: If we can't see the people on our borders as human, we are no longer a humane society.
Congrats, that is as close to any kind of video proof I've seen. Still not sure they were 'whipping' the migrants but at least you found something.
That actually looked like the border patrol may have swung something at one of those people. Not sure though. Definitely worth an investigation. Nice find!
There’s literally nothing there. And Biden said people were being “strapped” which is the same as whipped. Complete bullshit. The longreins are used to keep separation between the horses and the people.
Looked like he may have swung it at somebody. And was definitely directing his horse close to people in an unsafe and completely unnecessary way. Certainly deserves an investigation, IMO.
Those are not illegal alians. They are refugees seeking asylum. Which is legal, and protected by US law. Harassing them with a whip or a horse is not legally protected.
Biden was referring to what Maxine Waters said about the footage...there's no reason to not investigate any abusive conduct by our border patrol...if they didn't have reason, I'm sure there'd be no investigation....I think you're making blanket assumptions based on a handful of still photographs when the people who are investigating have more evidence and contact with the situtation. It's due process...not some political ad....If refugees were in an ocean on your border you wouldn't let them drown just because of how you define illegal alien....refugees often have no possessions or even identification...I think humane processing and civil orderly policing of the border is where we should be at as a nation. We let 12.5K through turned 8K back to Mexico and sent about 4K back to Haiti.....that's not the problem...it's how we treated them to get to that point that's at issue..just like the cages and seperation of families was the issue before
But those people don't live here yet, and asylum seekers do not fit that criteria. And that's not a law, which is what would be required to preclude them from being classified as asylum seeking immigrants, or refugees. And like somebody else says, "innocent until proven guilty".
