I know...24 thousand...fleeing a disaster...same thing happened in Syria except they were stuck in the water...they've all been processed so the issue has been dealt with but as I said....it's not about the refugees, it's about how we handled them at the border...we had national guard and border patrol people at the border along with other agents...we were not in danger of Haitian invasion
@Lanny here is every post you made in this thread: No video or link Here is you claiming here is a video, but no video or link. here is you admitting you cant link to a video you say you saw the whipping Here is you saying you saw it on the news. here is you posting a transcript of someone claiming there was whipping. Again no actual video of whipping. is is someone else also stated what I've stated. here is you claiming there is a video because Biden mentioned it. But again, no video No video No video again. A claim but no video or link. O video or link to a video yet… what video? You haven't shown one video. You gave a link to a transcript. Not a video. no video evidence of whipping im that link, pointed out by others. Not just me. here is me asking you about this. I dont believe i got a response. Here is you claiming again toy wont link to z video because its alot of work. but above, prior, you claimed to have already posted it??? i just looked through the posts and so have others. What you claim here is not accurate and the evidence is above. no video or evidence of a whipping. no evidence or video of a whipping now im not sure why you aRe getting upset with me stating you haven't done what you claim you have. Its all right above. Did you maybe delete or have a post removed( i wouldn't know why) that i have not seen? Otherwise the evidence is there that you have not provided a video or link of a whipping.
A video was posted. You being wrong about there being no video evidence is no reason to go after Lanny. Just accept that you're wrong. It's becoming obvious you just want to argue.
I may be wrong but I think OB is saying that the video shows no actual whipping of migrants. Yes there is that video and it shows the agent at two different times swinging the reigns but at no point (from what I saw) did anyone get struck with the reigns or 'whipped.'
It could have been. The reign was definitely close to hitting somebody. All anybody is saying is that an investigation is reasonable.
I agree 100% there needs to be an investigation, that's all good and fine but some people are running with the narrative the MSM was making it out to be akin to a scene from 12 Years a Slave
People are seeking asylum from a real threat, which is legal, and government goons are herding them like sheep with horses. It's a horrible situation.
Which part can be disputed? The video shows government employees charging horses at people forcing them to move one way or another... those people are fleeing a horrible situation.
It was a minute long video of a situation that took place over multiple days where thousands upon thousands were trying to get into the country. The Border Patrol were trying to do their job. Yes it didn't look great, yes there should be an investigation, no I don't think those men and women were on horseback are automatically guilty based off this video. I've seen first hand what these agents go through on horseback and how they try to manage the situation on the border.
The video shows BP agents doing their job. They’re on horseback due to the volume of people trying to cross the border illegally. They are using loose reins to keep space between the people and their horses. I don’t think anyone would like to get hit by a 1200 lb horse.
If that were the case they wouldn't be directing their horses close to people who are not close to anybody else. Sorry, the video proves that take wrong, pretty conclusively. There should certainly be an investigation, and either policies changed or punishments handed out. We should not be hiring people to torment anybody that way.
