    IIRC, PapaG went off because someone publicly posted a picture of someone holding a nerf gun. He deserved the flack he got for that.

    However, I'm in complete agreement with you about the posting of the text messages. Tell everyone that he's texting you, tell us that he's reading the thread--but posting screen shots of the actual texts is juvenile. Adults should be better than that. Regardless of how ridiculously Kingspeed may be behaving, HCP should be willing/able to rise above.

    He's not.

    i can respect that. But if someone sends me a text in real life and acts one way on here and accuses me of shit/being a bad fan, i see nothing wrong with pointing out how they are in reality.

    It's like the old saying, you can tell a lot about a mans (or womans) character by how they act when they think no one is looking.

    kings true colors came out when he sent harassing texts to hcp. Although I don't really think any of us should've been too surprised. He's always taken things way too seriously and black and white.

    It's still not cool. There's no justification for the shit that's happening in this thread; using previous wrongs committed by the target isn't justification. It's an excuse.

    And if king had never sent the texts in the first place, or the continual harping of a bet that never took place....

    if king didn't want this kind of reaction/thread, he could've just silently left and we all would've been none the wiser. How many times have many of us just taken a break without making an announcement?

    Hell, I left for a month+ here w/out an announcement a while ago (and none of you bastards even noticed!).

    I see something wrong with it though. Using someone else's bad behavor as an excuse to behave badly is in my opinion childish. We all do it (lord knows I do), but NOT doing it is the essence of personal strength, not a weakness.

    Bottom line, eric went way overboard insulting hcp and his wages. From posting over the years i know that hcp worked his ass off to get to where he is and to make a better life for his family. He should be really proud of what he accomplished. Not having some poster talking down to him like he is better than them because he is in hollywood. That exudes narcissism to me and it is fucking disgusting.

    Hcps wages and what he does for a living had nothing to do with the conversation. Eric said those things to try on purpose to be malicious.

    Should hcp have posted the texts? Probably not. But i didnt get a malicious intent from him in doing so. I took it as more of a wtf is wrong with this guy for trying to go for the jugular.

    And i saw that as a poster who has been annoyed by hcp and eric. Im not "choosing sides"
