Gay Love Mayo. There was some serious interaction back in that draft.

Consider me a TB fan. I miss him and was said when he was essentially dumped.

You'd have to bring in Ramon Sessions to be the backup pg in that scenario. Gay Love Mayo Sessions.

My guess is Monroe is the Blazers top FA target (outside of LaMarcus). Since he's only a 5 yr vet, his max (25% of CAP) is less than the 7-9 yr vets available (30% of CAP). That leaves the Blazers a bit of money to fill the gap at SF.

Monroe-LA would be pretty sick offensively and with the way the games changing, passable on defense. We could always bring in the stopper Plums.

Plumlee is not a good defender. One of his weaknesses is defensive rotations.

Monroe may not be a great fit next to Aldridge or Love. Monroe likes the ball top key left, as does LA on pick and pops. Love also likes it left side. The difference of course is Monroe shoots almost all of his shots in the paint. An offense would need to be designed to take advantage of high low, but Aldridge would not have the space he currently does, Love would fair better.....just my opinion of course.

I love your idea, sheed, but I can't think of a worse possible defensive configuration than a front line of Leonard at SF, Love at PF and LMA at C. But at least you bring Monroe off the bench. :)

Aldridge is underrated man to man, imo he particularly plays well against centers. Biebs will get better. We would be all about scoring and with that line up you have 5 guys that can drill a 3. Have lillard and CJ playing passing lanes for fast break buckets.

    I was joking about plumlee

As for Monroe, there has to be a reason Portland was so interested in him last year. I linked it in another thread that Monroe is a lot more productive at C than PF. The Monroe/LA pairing intrigues me.

The only SF currently on the team is Crabbe and he's more of a SG.

I think Diez has a real shot at making the roster.

I think they wanted Monroe on the cheap last year to kick the tires. He's a LaMarcus hedge since I have a feeling he doesn't want to sign with a team that plans to sick him at the 5. IMHO he's by far the best PF replacement on the market.

Simple... sign Lamarcus and Monroe, add offensive liability but stud defender Aminu. We have added then 2 guys under 25 years old and have youth, experience and talent for the next 5 years.

I just have a feeling your plan will be short lived with Aldridge.

Bottom Line: Aldridge wants to be a part of a "Big Three". He wasn't with Batum. Does Monroe count? I think/hope so.

He isn't very smart if he wants to.play PF.

He is far worse at PF than he is at center.

Is that feeling the same one that feels Damian drinks like a fish?

Because if it is, that's a good sign for the Blazers.

Damian doesn't drink like a fish. Fish pass fluids through their bodies by osmosis. The only thing Damian has in common with a fish is that he's cold-blooded and thrives from the deep.
