This is directly from the CBA: "Individual teams are required to carry a minimum of 14 players"

OKC just added Schroeder, Lewaw-Caberot, and Justin Anderson, and got rid of Melo... more teams in west making moves and getting better while Neil is sitting on his hands... bringing back same team

Anderson going to Atlanta. Schroder can't shoot, and plays the same position as their best player. Super expensive backup who doesn't fit well in small lineups.

Why does the cost matter to you... Schroeder is well above average for a backup PG

LMAO, if Schroder was any good why would Atlanta draft Trae Young over several better players, use their cap space to acquire Jeremy Lin, and then trade him for Carmelo Anthony who they will buyout?

Hmmm So that's 1 player out and three players in.

Seems to me so far the Blazers have three players out and 4 players in. Looks like we have done more than OKC now..

This place is losing its appeal...

Pretty soon its going to be three people bitching at each other about NO. (isn't that almost all it is now?)

    Fuck.

I used to like this place....

I will pay double the cost to ban a couple people here.

IM absolutely tired of reading the same stupid shit from the same stupid people around here.....

Go get a life and let some of us enjoy this place .... PLEASE!

Because Schroeder has some off court issues and was open about not wanting to be in ATL anymore. Atlanta has also placed an emphasis on shooters. But Schroder is still a very good player and will be one of the best backups, if not the best, in the league

He can't shoot. He needs the ball to be worthwhile. Playing next to Westbrook who can't shoot. Who needs the ball to be worthwhile. And Roberson who can't shoot. Who should really never touch the ball unless it's on defense.

Because look at the current economics of the NBA. Teams were able to get superstar players at bargain prices. That could have been us if we didn't have crappy contracts. The same applies to OKC.

I don't understand why people aren't grasping this concept about the shooting. Just because a player is an okay starter on a bad team doesn't mean he'll be a great backup on a good team. Besides, is Schroder even going to accept a minor role?

Remember how good Reggie Jackson was with OKC? He wasn’t a shooter either. I’d expect the same kind of impact for Schroder.

Also, has his court case been cleared up?

Remember how much Reggie bitched having to play behind Westbrook? Schroder is the same type of personality.

Schroeder was a good back up before to Teague, now the situation is different t ATL had better shooters s than OKC does.

There aren't many players that can go from being the main guy on their team to backing up an MVP when they are still in their mid-20's. I'm not saying he can't or won't do it but it's possible he'd be unhappy.

It's also possible that he'll be in jail and not able to play too.

Curry was an up & coming PG before he got hurt. Dude played well in Dallas. I like his addition. Blazers young players continue to develop. Nurk, Chief, Collins will all improve IMO. Dame always works on his game, NUFF SAID. Let's see what they can do, and worry less about what other team's do. I'm excited for another year of Blazers basketball. If you don't like them, find another team. The only thing the Blazers hold hostage in me, is my heart, and that's the deal you make when you love anything. Go Blazers!!
