    No one ever said it was. This isn't a PED policy. It's an anti-drug program.

    They violated an ant? That is ridiculous. Was it the Fort Wayne mascot?

    Normally, it is a drug. However, I've found that it has on effect on me when coupled with ice cream. The very thought of eating chocolate ice cream is nauseating to me.

    Absolutely, no argument.

    I'm just saying that it can be difficult for an athlete or actor to distinguish the difference between
    what is allowed and what is REALLY allowed.

    The problem with NBA athletes smoking pot is that many of the fans don't like it and it would show in the team's bottom line.

    Does anyone know if it was actually weed? The tweet doesn't specify.

    The NBA has a list of 192 banned performance enhancing drugs, along with several banned masking agents. Both Sefalosha and Noel are/were injured. Any chance they may have been juicing to help accelerate their recovery? Not accusing, just asking.

    That was why Joakim Noah got suspended, but his suspension was for 20 games. The 5 game suspension would be consistent with past marijuana suspensions (5 games after the 3rd failed test). It seems like most PED related suspensions ate 10 games, or longer.

    This is a big part of my point though. If it hinders your performance like you suggest why would any athlete be stupid enough to use it? Just wait until your career is over and smoke all the weed you want. A guy like Noel already has severely under performed compared to the talent he has in the NBA. Why on Earth would he do drugs that make him an even worse player? Is it simply that he is in denial that it could possibly be hindering his performance? Imagine Odom or a guy like Larry Sanders if they could have stayed off the drugs.

    Weed isn't a drug. Sorry y'all. Get your minds right and understand why it's illegal. It's illegal because of this $100,000 challenge:

    By Jack Herer

    If all fossil fuel and their derivatives, as well as trees for paper and construction, were banned in order to save the planet, reverse the Greenhouse Effect and stop deforestation; then there is only one known annually renewable, natural resource that is capable of providing the overall majority of the world's paper, plastics and textiles; meet all of the world's transportation, industrial and home energy needs; provide about 30% of the world's medicines, while reducing pollution, rebuilding the soil and cleaning the atmosphere, all at the same time…and that substance is the same one that has done it before, for the last five to 10 thousand years, until about 125 years ago…

    CANNABIS HEMP!

    No one has taken the $100,000 challenge to prove me wrong. Why? Because I am right. The U.S. government has been lying to us since the early 1900s. Do economic interests and the police have more to say than the people about the future of our planet? How angry are you for being lied to by the U.S. government about Cannabis Hemp? Are you willing to make a stand right now?

    No one can dispute this information and knowledge. You have to join me in this fight. Either you are on the U.S. government's side or you are on the Earth's side with me!

    Jack Herer

    Prove it wrong and get paid. No one has done it yet.

    I couldn't play while smoking. But others can. Odom won championships being high.

    Nerlens Noel was suspended? That would seem to imply he was playing before. I honestly forgot he was in the NBA.

    Overall you'd say his career was just a fraction of his potential though right? Odom could've been one of the greats in my opinion with that skillset. Just because he won titles doesn't mean the druh use didn't hinder his performances.

    This is somewhat off topic but not really;

    Aminu plays stoned out of his mind every night. I can’t be convinced otherwise.

    but on a serious note, there is a scenario where marijuana could be performance enhancing;

    a player with bad anxiety.
