Its been a long struggle this year, all the way from last offseason, when we had to face the said departure of K-Mart till now. But those struggles now looking back only made us stronger. And I know alot of people arent expecting much from Jersey in the playoffs. But upsets were meant to happen, look know futher than the old Mutumbo Nuggets over Payton & Kemp's Sonics to realize anything is possible. Time to make history....

nicely put,Henacy....It's unlikely but i hope they'll be able to pull an upset against the no.1 team in the East...Just like the 94 Nugs...it couldn't get any sweeter...

Hell yeah! The Nets are in! I'm so freakin happy! I can't believe that we turned our season around and are now in the playoffs! Proving haters wrong and now lets keep the Heat series close!

I remember listening to ESPN radi yesterday when Jersey first got in it. People were so ridiculous. Someone said Vince Carter is Jordan in his prime, and the Nets will beat the Heat. I guess people were too drunk partying on the Nets win. [IMG]

I know upsets can happen (look no further but at my '99 Knicks) but, realistically, New Jersey's chances are slim to none. If Vince explodes like he's been doing lately I still think it's a wrap. Shaq and Wade are something and with role players like the Jones', Haslem, Dooling etc. start stepping it up I think it can quite easily be a sweep. We'll see though.

There's a chance that NJ can win this series. If Shaq misses out the first few games (2,3 or so) and plays reduced minutes in the next few coupled with RJ returning...There's definitely a chance that NJ can win the series. However, I do not believe Shaq will stay out that long, 2 games tops I believe, but I don't even think he'll miss a game, although he might.

Yeah, but wouldn't Shaq be in the same positon as RJ too? So that kind of cancels out and Wade and everyone else is an eastern conference elite right there.

I don't think Shaq and RJ are in the same posistion, because RJ is much more likely to play in Game 1 or 2 than Shaq. It might have to be Wade and co. for the first couple of games versus the Nets. However, I believe Shaq won't miss the 2nd game, not sure about the first though, so we'll have to wait that out.

They let the Celtic Rookies go on a run late in the 4th, but they managed to pull out a win..Congrats to the Nets (who knew a few months ago they would be where they are now) and Good luck facing Miami, if the Nets play like they have for the past month- they could pull away with an upset.
