You Guys are all talking about the 2010 FA class, but still everybody wants to trade VC. I say let's keep VC, and trade RJ for JO, then we really have a lot's of space in the 2010 offseason. If we can get Mike Miller for KVH and Boki, the next step will have to be not VC, but RJ (+Magloire+Krstic+Marcus) For JO. Then we can have: Harris/Armstrong VC/Ager Miller/Hassell Jo/Stro Boone/Sean. This lineup works way better than RJ in place of VC... Mike Miller would flourish with VC, While VC would have an easier job because of JO. And VC can still give our athletic bigs som easy dunks with his great passing, - something that we would totally miss if we kept RJ instead of VC. We really don' want to extend Nenad for 8-10 mill a year do we? Then it's better to trade him now.. Then we don't pick up VC's option, and let JO expirer, and we have a great young and cheap core too in 2010.

For clarity these are the players who can be combined in trades: Vince RJ Marcus DA Boki Sean Boone Nenad Mags Thats it...every other player can only be traded if they are sent alone. Therefore your Mike Miller proposal doesnt work... the rumor is Boki, Mags, DA and a first for the record. As for trading RJ making more sense...nope. RJ's contract is up in 2010...Carter's is a year longer..til 2011. which means we wouldn't have the salary cap space we want to sign players if we sent RJ to the Pacers instead of Vince. Vince's option is for 2012. If we keep RJ, get Miller and Oneal than we will clear approximately 52 million from our cap the summer than Lebron, Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh become free agents. in short... YOUR WRONG!
