I prefer dealing RJ to Portland. I don't know why there aren't any rumours swirling around them. Yes, I understand that they want to build around their young guys, but as I understand it, if they don't do anything they'll end up with something like 20 players under contract next season. It seems like Seattle and Portland have half the draft picks this year between them.

portland will need to give extensions to roy, aldridge and there other young pieces so they'll need to trade some depth, if we take on Lafrentz contract, we might be able to get back outlaw.

rj, mags for outlaw and lafrentz

That doesn't sound so bad. That's a good rebuilding move, although Thron has said you people "aren't" in that mode in another thread...

thorn is not going to say we're rebuilding, it'll drive off the little fans we have left hence the "we're still trying to win and not give up" stance

I like the Vince-Curry-Cap Space three way idea.

Then again, I'm not sure what you DO with that much cap space, but I like the idea of blank-slatin' it.

RJ to Portland definitely makes sense. What about RJ and Mags for LaFrentz, Outlaw and the rights to Petteri Koponen?

The real prize is going after their still-to-come European guys, like Koponen and Rudy Fernandez. They need to start dumping bodies, and they can get rid of those guys without screwing up their playoff chances this year.

Hope we get back Crawford or Dorrell Wright.

I don't want to see Trenton Hassell starting! [IMG]

do you know how many shots that stupid fool chucks per game !!! it goes to his hands and all he does is chuck , chuck keep on chucking. His defense is horrible the Knicks have been trying to trade him , I don't know why anyone would want Crawford I just don't know why.

I really want to trade for Mike Miller and then ship Carter off to New York for picks and cap space.

I think that gives us money to compete next year while being pretty flexible in terms of contracts.

If you think about it...its brilliant.
further screw up the Knicks cap space/roster
while clearing cap room to allow more flexibilty four our future.
