Then you probably never seen him. he plays just like Tim Duncan, and models his game after him. Do I think he's the next Tim Duncan of course not, but a poor man's Tim Duncan isn't that crazy.

Lopez will be nowhere as good as Aaron Gray. You're crazy!

I watched him more than any other player in this draft.

I could make a list a mile long of all the things Tim Duncan can do that Lopez can't dream of doing.

So Duncan isn't a player who likes to bang down low, and shoot mid range jumpers?

Love the pick but hate the guy. He was crying honestly two picks before the Nets because he wasn't gone.

We are emotionally weak so adding that is tough.

The pick is growing on me. Lets be real here, he was the best center in the draft and probably the 2nd best big man overall after Beasley. We were lucky for him to fall to us, considering we usually have to take on a project in some form in terms of big men. Is he going to be Duncan? of course not. Is he going to be a good player? One can only hope, but i believe he is. He has good hands, nice touch, and can flat out score, which is more then we'v had in a big man that we'v drafted since we took K-Mart (who was more heralded as a freak athlete/ defender). The question is, is he going to be tough? Again i dont know and we'll have to see, but watching him he does bring some attitude when he plays. He is also a legit seven footer, with good weight on him, and a long wingspan.

I realize the big problem with this was that Bayless was available, and heck i wanted him myself. Now that i look at it however, i do like the Lopez pick. We had the most undersized big men in the league, so hopefully this pick will change that.

Two 7 footers, and 3 6'10 players. How is that undersized?

I'm not a big fan of Brook, personally. He seems very mechanical and at 46.8% his FG% is pretty low for a center of his size. He's also not a strong rebounder despite being 7'0, 260 pounds.

To top it off, he and his brother were acting weird during the draft.

It's undersized because Boone who was our best inside defender got bullied around, Sean Williams isnt strong enough to body up people other then shooting big men (well at least last season), Yi weighs about the same as Swat but is taller and a shooter, Anderson weighs the same as Yi and again is a shooter, and Krstic is a 7 footer but he may be the softest one of the bunch. Yea there all tall, but the only ones who even plays in the paint is Boone and Williams (who i really hope got stronger). And we saw what happens to Williams, everytime he was matched up against someone as athletic as him. He got destroyed because all of these big men weighed 20 somthing pounds more then him and were just as athletic.

Diop was the only legit center we had who weighed like 280, he didnt really have much of a game and he's not gonna be sticking around next season.

I disagree, I don't think we were undersized at all. I figure Sean was a rookie, who's gonna get bigger in the offseason.

Boone did just fine last season, he wasn't undersized and only got bullied around by fatties like Shaq. Then again, who doesn't? Collins? Well, I know you're used to him, but not every big man is gonna be as good defensively as him. Brook sure as hell won't be.

Krstic....let's not talk about him. We don't know shit about how he's gonna do next season. We don't even know if he's gonna be on the team.

And Yi, he was a rookie, too. He'll build strength in the offseason, too..but he's more of a finesse big anyways.

I think we were fine. A couple tough, big defensive players in Sean and Josh, both getting bigger - that's more than most teams have. Also, both are developing quite nice offensively - especially Sean. They're both to the point where they won't hurt us on offense.
