Why you would trust the game in the hands of a (at then) 0-9 FG guy and not Kobe is beyond me

No, I'd give credit to Toine's good defensive play, in denying Kobe the ball along with Kidd.

The inbounds passer didn't have anywhere to go, and Phil made a mistake with calling 2 timeouts.

what a game!! I still don't agree with that 3 point foul shot call on Kobe, but hell, it was meant to be, he missed that last one. good good win. I can sleep happily now after a depressing weekend.

Good game, man. We really needed this one to regain our confidence. Hopefully we'll do better this season and don't have to trade for Bynum [IMG]

Yup a lot of terrible decisions by PJax tonight. He's underestimated how dumb his players are.

    quoting soul daddy phil jackson

(On the last play of the game…)

“No, (the play) was for the open man. Was hoping it was going to be Drew, actually to be honest with you.

He had a four-inch or five-inch advantage on the guy that was in the post.

You know, it’s multiple situations. Kobe’s a hot guy. He’s a key guy. You know, if they chase him, someone’s open.”

there were a couple seconds of the last play when the cameras were on Swat and Bynum, Sean's like diggin into him probably saying something like "there's no way I'll let you catch this lob" or something like that and Bynum is like kinda tickled that sean was so agro..classic
