Orlando got completely screwed. They didn't call shit for Turk the last couple minutes.

Holy ****!!! We've made it!!! And I couldn't watch because of college... [IMG] Looking at box score I presume Sean and Boone will start from the bench next game.

Why fix somethin when it ain't broken?

Keep them starting, keep bringing Collins and Allen off the bench. I don't see why we should switch things up.

I can't believe the Nets won this one, I'm still shocked.

They played horrible through 3 but actually fought back in the 4th, when was the last time we saw that?

    and half the headbands!

woo hoo! what a win!! it shows that, at least for one game, we can deal with the southeast's best team. signs of improvement, indeed.

wow wow wow. what a grind out, gutty win this was.

+ DA // was a pure shot of adrenaline every single second he was in the game today. we saw malik play extremely well against his former team in miami and we saw DA playing his best ball as a net in orlando. dont' expect 13 points all the time from him, but we know he can give us scoring if we need it and we needed it badly today.

+ Twin // he was a scoring beast today. even had an ingame dunk, amazing. i thought some of his layups Howard let him have because twin is probably the most blockable player in the game around the basket. bravo to twin for making good plays. twin made frank look good today by playing well on both ends of the court and during the critical times of the game. good job by him today.

+ malik/boki // both made some big jumpers, but still want to see more out of boki and see him get hot from beyond the arc and DUNK the ball once in a while. last year he would drive the lane and dunk, this year hes just layin it up.

+ frank // im not a frank fan, but i gotta give him credit for subbing kidd and rj in for NOT DA, but vince and boki. he kept DA in and our team kept thriving

    - sean // no matter how well he plays for a stretch the bottom line is he is a rookie and will make rookie mistakes and experience new things every game. this was a learning game for him. i think this game shows sean the importance of POSITIONING. that is one thing that twin understands and josh is doing.

    - boone // played well on howard, but picked up some early fouls and he just didnt get into a rhythm. he had some shots in the paint and flat out missed. he has to improve on his touch around the rim and make those on a consistent basis.

    - marcus // he has to be one of the biggest dark spots of this game for me. then again, maybe i should give him a plus. by him playing soooooo poorly he forced frank to play DA and DA delivered. marcus was just slow slow slow on the D end and sloppy on the O end. i can understand him being late and stuff on the D end, but he is an O player and when he struggles with his offense that is very bad for him and us. hopefully he can turn it around sooner than later, but he might have to wait a few games to get some time because frank is in love with DA now and DA will be getting minutes.

Wow, Collins finished 5-5...don't see that often. He was the x-factor this game.

Don't look now but the Nets record is just under .500 (15-16). Looking more like a playoff team's record and less like someone's FG shooting.

Outside of the Celtics, Pistons, and Magic (to a lesser extent)...no one has really disatanced themself yet. As bad as the Nets have been this year, they're right in the thick of things. Only 1 1/2 out of the 4th seed at this point.

To be fair regarding Williams and Boone tonight, they were guarding a top 2-3, dominant big man in the league. Not an easy task whoever you are, let alone a rookie and second year player. A good learning experience, nonetheless.

I'm taking credit for this one. If it weren't for the Jason Collins - The Takeover (see below) well... lets just say you people are fools if you think its a coincidence [IMG]

Why didn't Magloire get in the game? if the "kids" were having so many issues with Howard, why not use Mags ?
