just wana say that i have enjoyed this series. it has become what it should be, a game 7 showdown. many thought it would be detroit vs indiana automatically in the east conf. finals and totally through jersey out the window. well for a team that has been to the finals two yrs in a row who still seems to not get respected did show what this team is made of. we all know the positives and negatives of both teams and those strengths and weaknesses were shown during this series. both teams have injury problems to key players and that can cause either team to not be able to defeat a healthy pacers team. this series will help each team to be better next year and following years to be serious threats to win a NBA championship. right now, both teams just seem beat up and indy's main players are not injured (jo got hit in the eye, i dunno if there is any damage to it or not-im assuming no). going into game 7, the nets showed that they do have pride and are experienced enough to win games and have shown that they have been there before. detroit has shown that maybe they were hyped up too much as a great defensive team. yea they were good in the reg season, but that is levels below what levels playoff are played on as we all know. most people expected detroits frontcourt to dominat the series, which hasnt happened consistantly. so the comments about both teams before the series turned out to not be the case during the series. series has been fun, im glad this is turing into a rivalry b/c we really don't have a #1 rivalry. knicks still got issues and havent been able to beat us since kidd got here and we had one going with boston but then that team was destroyed. so hopefully this will turn into something.
