    no. the players would end up hating rick barry. rick is only good for his memories as a warrior player. he's not a good person. good coach. nor good management.

    i rather have don nelson coaching. hope i made myself clear :rant:.

    what do you think of mike dunleavy sr as coach? i'm not sure, but think anyone who takes the clipper job as coach starts off with a minus.

    HAHA, I kind of remember that episode. I think at the time I was rooting for Rick because he kinda had a point, but yeah, in life, you need to pick your battles and with Rick, everything was a huge battle.

    I guess there is a very good reason why Rick Barry doesn't have a job in the NBA.

    I'd love to get Shaw. Sounds like a promising young coaching candidate who has it all; appeals to players, energetic, preaches defense, probably knows some good offense working in the triangle so much. Hes an Oakland guy too.

    Rick Barry is too much of a stubborn ass to ever get anything out of NBA players.
