I have stopped hoping that Stro will get playing time. That Dallas trade pretty much killed any hope of that. My guess is they're doing it on purpose, hoping that he WILL opt out of that last contract year.

The chances of someone picking him up at this point, if he does opt out? Pretty good I'd say. For 6.2 mill? Not a chance in hell. He'll stick around for the money.

It just makes me so angry dude, what the f00k. Then again, this team just lost to Memphis. I rest my case.

thats a possibility, and thats real pathetic if it's true. he probably will stick around even if he's in the doghouse, but remember he took less money to sign with houston because he thought he would have an opportunity to join a better team. i hope to god if he continues to be treated unfairly he says eff you and opts out. there are plenty of teams that could use him.

I got it! That was Nets plan from the very beginning: get rid of Collins's 2 years, get Swift with 1+1 and force him to leave after 1! That's brilliant move by Thorn/Frank [IMG]

Amen dude, I'll be right there with ya hoping he gets picked up by someone good. I'm a big Cavs fan (I live in Cleveland), I know I'd like him on our team. We have alot of bigs now tho, so I dunno if he'd fit in. Heck, he'd fit in perfectly in Memphis. Why he was getting jack shit playing time there was beyond me, and here too.

There's gotta be something we don't know going on. It's really pissing me off. Is it that these coaches don't see him as part of the long-term plans because he's 28 years old? Is it because they don't like the stigma of a high draft pick player "underachieving" on their roster? Is it because they'd rather put in a younger player and lose and have the excuse that they're "developing young talent?" Probably all of the above.

Wish I could talk to Stro and find out a little more about what's going on.

Like they say, "it's a business." Stro knows that. If he likes playing basketball, and his agent is fielding calls, he'll opt out and take a deal somewhere else if he can get a multi-year contract. If he is done, he'll sit next year and take his money and retire after the season's over.

In a game where Carter didn't even attempt a 3, WTF even prompted you to make such a retarded comment? And Carter can hit 3's.

How is it a retarded comment. We need threes and Carter cannot hit them consistantly.

If Carter doesn't attempt a 3, I can understand criticizing him for not attempting one (although that'd certainly be a change!), but it doesn't mean he's lost his long range shooting ability...

Please, if Carter took a bunch of 3's you would be complaining why he's shooting so many 3's. And it's a retartded comment because it's not even like Carter went 0-5 missing a bunch of open 3's which would then make sense for someone to make a comment about Carters 3 point shooting. He didn't even attempt any and neither did RJ but for some inexplicable reason you make a comment about Carter shooting 3's.

I'd like to have our shooting gaurd shoot. Seems like Vince is sliding more into a SF role.
