So before I buy an antenna off of Amazon, will I for sure be able to watch the games on youtubeTv if I just get the antenna?

Blazer games are not on YouTubeTV.
An antenna and YouTubeTV are and would be separate input/viewing options on your TV. They don't work together.

    https://www.nba.com/blazers/watch
    from the website
All available games will be streamed on Fubo across the states of Oregon and Washington.
Only KATU 2.1 broadcasted games are available on YouTube TV, Hulu + Live TV, DIRECTV Stream within the general Portland area.

I agree. Roku is pretty good.
But I think the AppleTV platform is better. That's what I have on all my main TV's. and Roku for secondary TV's (backyard, 2nd TV in living room).

Well for spectrum users the blazers now show on their guide for tonight. However there was a problem with the last telecast. The first game picture on my TV shrunk in size not utilizing the TV’s full screen dimensions. Not the TV’s problem appears to be the broadcast signal from blazers or Spectrum could not covert to full screen. Hopefully this is fixed tonight wondering if anyone else had this problem.

I won’t believe this until you reveal your sources.

No. You'd have to change the input or source to antenna.

But it would still work. Just hookup the antenna and then change input to the antenna and it will work?

Im so confused by all this and I’ve been getting mixed answers on here and Reddit

Shrunken picture still an issue for tonight’s game. Talked with spectrum tek support and problem reported by multiple people. The problem is with the KATU signal being sent out. Spectrum has issued a trouble report to KATU to fix. At least the problem has been identified.

If your TV has a coax input, you can hook up an antenna to it. You'll have to scan channels (and change the source or input with your tv's regular remote).

Depending on your TV if you have an antenna you shouldn't need to buy anything. Should be able to get all the games this season except the TNT game.

That's if your TV has a tuner. If it doesn't have a tuner you might have to buy one.

Depending on where you live pretty much any antenna should work.

The “old timers thread” helps explain why so many here can’t figure out how to get Blazer games on their TV. :bgrin:

All signed up for BlazerVision. Looks like I have to watch it on the NBA app? I thought there was a separate BlazerVision app. Also says I can’t watch a game until THREE days after. Whoa!

I live in eastern Oregon. I mounted an antenna on the side of my house facing the translator around 25 years ago. I didn't know it was a "digital antenna", but it works great for watching 2.2.

The only downside? The translator asks me for money every year, because they see the antenna on my house (welcome to life in a small town). I haven't payed because I don't watch regular TV (regular youtube + brave browser to cut out most of the bs works great). Now, I may voluntarily pay the $100/year for the translator.

The good news on a roko device streaming spectrum the picture is fine. This size problem only on the tv hooked to the spectrum cable box.
