So who's coaching the Vegas bowl game against Boise State? That would be awkward for Willie at this point

Canzano, like always is 20% right and 80 % wrong. Tedford wants the job, but is not in the running. Mario does not need to hit a recruiting home run this week to get considered for the job. (like JC suggested) Mullens is well aware of Mario's abilities. Most Duck fans assumed he would only be a one and done assitant before getting another HC gig. We just didn't know it might be in Eugene. Canzano is late to the party as usual.

Have a feeling it's Sumlin. Might not be popular, and probably lose recruits THIS YEAR, but he's a better coach than Taggart, and is an elite recruiter. He'll also bring Chavis with him who is an elite DC

I am under the impression that Sumlin is enamored with the NFL at this point in time. Which is why he pulled out of the UCF discussions and never got serious with ASU even though his agent is a Sun Devil.

We will see if it is true, I saw this: Per Adam Bjaranson of Koin TV.......

"I've got a pretty reliable source who tells me that Ducks will be hiring Kevin Sumlin as their next HC. Announcement to be made Friday."

That is most likely a good hire for the Cucks.

God I hope he can retain Leavitt. And most of the recruits, of course.

Just because some recruits 'decomitted' doesn't mean they aren't open to 'recommitting'.

And how about that tool State Rep Bill Post acting like a petulant child and blasting some kid who was lied to for decommitting. Post basically called him a child, while acting like a child. What a schmuck.

Alright, well let's see what he's got. High risk, high reward.

Yep. He did ok at FIU, but nothing like Frost at Central Florida.

    Pros

    Players respect him
    Elite recruiter....to Alabama, anyway
    Seems to love Eugene

    Cons

Decent, but not spectacular at FIU

If he holds that recruiting class together, he's going to be in for a whole lot of reward.

If he can coach. Taggart was a great recruiter, but not the best on Saturday. Lot's of really good HCs in the PAC 12
