Ugh I'd really like to see TT do something here! Droughns could have been had for cheap(hell they might have excepted Fergy for him straight up!)

We need more depth in the form of a experience at the RB position, I don't think Amahn Green's void is going to be so easily filled, even though we are running the vaunted zone blocking scheme were "everyone's a 1000 yard rusher" we still need some leadership at the position even if this turns out to be true.

I like the fact that TT is waiting and not spending early. The drop off between guys who sign early and 2nd tier free agents is not huge in terms of production but drastic in terms of money.

We've kind of hit that 2nd tier part. The problem is that Thompson appears to be doing nothing even with the 2nd tier guys signing for a reasonable price.

Justin Griffith was in for a visit and left without a contract.
Tory James was in for a visit and left without a contract.
Joe Horn was schedule but never came.

Next week things better start to fall into the fold.

Griffith is now a Raider, for a measly 3.8 mil for 3 years, How could we afford not to match that for arguably the best Full Back for our system currently in the league?

I with you. I have been showing patience but I'm slowly starting to think the Packers are overvaulting the talent on their roster. If this keeps up the Packers will surely finish below 500 next season.

Exactly, If anything, we over achieved last year, and thanks to a relatively offense less last stretch our Defense looked like the Bears for gosh sakes! 3.8 mil for 3 years is nothing! It's barley over the vet Minimum! We could have gone ALOT more than that, Thompson is really starting to piss me off with his approach...Yes Building through the draft is the key, but in the NFL winning is what you play to do, you don't play for next year(at least not in off season!). We don't have to sign any huge names and over pay for them, but we have Holes that NEED to be filled with some veteran influences, we cannot afford to go with 5 or 6 rookies starting again next year and expect for them grow up as quick as lat years class.
