The new "logo" is a cartoon version of what is considered by many to be the best crest in North American soccer. I think the new logo is OK, but it looks like an indoor lacrosse team or triple A baseball logo. It's not a proper crest. It's cheesy as fuck.

I rarely buy anything to eat at sporting events, but always buy a huge soda at the movies :)

What if Paul Allen when he first came in switched the Blazers logo from:
    [IMG] to this:
without any fan input? :shitstorm: Many people would have hated him for it.

The silver and the texture on the patch made it look good. They should have displayed that to the public instead of the cheap looking logo version. Also didn't Ferret preview it to a group of season ticket holders? Everyone likes the patch over the logo. I think Ferret feels he can feed you fans shit and you'll eat it up.

the problem is, the Timbers old logo isn't vastly different from their new one, much like the original Blazers logo (or the current variation) IS vastly different from the flaming basketball logo.

They took "advice" from Season Ticket Holders and stuff but from the looks of it, that was only to make it look like he cared. But no preview or anything before the Logo. I think he just has a bruised ego right now about it... which sucks, because nothing is worse than a spoiled millionaire who is upset.

There is a FO meeting with the 107ist tomorrow though, so we'll see how that goes.

I have no idea what the hell you just said but if you show up wearing the old logo I bet it ends with you in the middle of a soccer fanboy bukkake fest.
