Any true blooded yank can make a gun out of an Ace hardware store....might have to order a part or two but weapons are probably all over your garage if you just know how to make them cooperate...

There's also easy ways to buy stolen cars online. Yet I don't hear anybody calling for "Car Control".

What's that? You mean, the majority of cars that are bought online are bought legally?

    Well, so are guns.

You used to hold a Federal Firearms License? Or you sold them privately?

Forgive me if I find this very hard to believe. You trust the government when it comes to Gun Control WAY too much for me to take you seriously about that.

But, by all means....I welcome your explanation.

Because, despite what they claim, they don't support the 2nd Amendment, and they sure as hell wouldn't support a legally armed citizen using a firearm to protect themselves with. ESPECIALLY if it's carried legally in public.

And I've yet to see even ONE bit of evidence that says otherwise.

I'm afraid this is where you lose credibility, and let me explain why.

Too often, that very logic is used to justify prosecuting innocent people who have had to use a firearm for self-defense to appease communities when an "innocent angel" is shot and killed. They don't care if this person was violent, had a criminal history, or was even in the process of beating the fuck out of someone or trying to steal their firearm.

They just care about EMOTION. And they call defending yourself "negligence", and then ask why the innocent angel had to die, and why the shooter couldn't have shot him in the leg. Or something equally stupid.

If this happened to me....you think my insurance company would side with me, despite the fact that I was lawfully cleared in the shooting?

I don't think so. I've studied, read, and seen too many cases of good people being prosecuted on bogus charges because they chose to exercise their right of Self Defense with a firearm for me to believe that. And often times, that logic is used either to appease a group of people, or they are prosecuted for political gain.

So, my question to you is: what defines a "terrible tragedy" to you?

So you don't agree with Patient Privacy?

Okay. Then tell us your medical history and information, so that we can determine if you're safe enough to live among us.

    See how that works?

Don't give me a strawman argument here. I personally give a fuck all about Marijuana or the laws governing it. Quite frankly, it needs to be legalized at the Federal Level, and states need to figure out for themselves what is okay and what is not.

When you can explain to me what a registry of legal gun owners will do to PREVENT crime, and who's in charge of keeping the registry, then we can discuss that in more detail.

But quite frankly, I'd rather have a public registry of violent repeat Felons and those associated with Gangs before we have a registry of law-abiding gun owners. I mean, why would you focus on tracking those who break no laws, rather than those who do?

Yeah, you can get out of my face with that crap too. I've yet to hear ONE Republican blame Obama for 9/11. If anything, I hear way too many Liberals blaming Bush for 9/11...despite the fact that the planning for it started LONG before he was even a candidate for president.

And donations from private entities. Which is entirely legal.

That's funny....because I've yet to hear them say "Support the Gun Manufacturers". They usually say "Support the 2nd Amendment", and supporting the 2A is about SO much more than buying a gun. There's competitions, discussion panels, training courses and schools, public education, and studies of history and laws that all support the 2A. And all of which is supported by the NRA.

If anything, there are many gun owners who are currently upset at many gun manufacturers for what they see as price gouging and rising costs. Not to mention putting out a lower-quality product (I'm looking at you, Freedom Group and Remington), and charging people way too much for it.

I'm willing to bet he's probably a moderate of sorts. He did give a speech at a RNC during the Bush Administration, but I can't remember which one specifically, or what year he gave it.

I did a private sale through Armslist once. It DOES require that you have a little common sense and knowledge of gun culture before you just go on there and start buying shit.

I sold a S&W 642 Airweight to a guy up North about 3 or 4 years ago, and it was a very pleasant experience. I made him sign a bill of sale, I required that he show me his Driver's License and CWP, and we both met in a public parking lot. We had a good conversation about guns, did our transaction, and parted ways.

Now, the laws in Washington (and Oregon, for that matter) have actually enabled Gun Stores and hurt private citizens. All because Bloomberg and MomsDemandAction/Newtown have forwarded the MYTH that private sales are for criminals and mass murderers.....despite the fact that NO mass killing in this country has ever been committed with a firearm that was bought through a private sale.

If only Liberals actually STUDIED this topic, they would know this.

"It's Bush's fault" was all we heard for at least 6 years of Obama, but sure. Republicans really shouldn't make excuses, and they should produce. Or else.

    http://www.cnn.com/2016/03/25/politics/dwayne-the-rock-johnson-president-campaign/

The story, from the conservative Independent Journal, uses Instagram photos from Johnson's personal account to jokingly lay out his campaign advantages, featuring him doing everything from pumping iron to volunteering.

Johnson is a Republican and has also engaged in some political comedy, reprising his "Saturday Night Live" character "The Rock Obama" last year. In the sketch, Johnson portrays the angry version of President Barack Obama, punishing the famously even-keel President's opponents.
