Like I wrote before. Trump shouldn't be the asking on his detractors like this. A better response would have been something like, "even though you won't support me, I intend to see the people of your district win over the next 8 years."
It was a coalition of High school and College educated men and women that elected Donald Trump. He did very poorly among non High School educated voters. Therefore, his pick for Education Secretary hold the keys to the future and I expect the Democrats to resist with all their might to stop the Trump administration for implementing school vouchers . But if they get this through, it will drasically increase chances for city kids to graduate from High School. Shazam! Life will be difficult for Democrats seeking a voter base. Mr. Lewis maybe able to ride on his fame from Selma, but not many Democrats have that rock.
