New York State Assembly passes bill to regulate MMA

AAAAAAAAnd I don't live in NY so I really don't care about this outcome. For some reason the UFC made it seem essentially to having the sport seem legit but I don't get it.

I think NY government was just being stubborn about the whole thing. I mean if 49 other states have no issue, they really had no leg to stand on blocking it.. they did have deep pockets to be filled with bribes from both sides of the argument, but no legit reason to deny a widely accepted sport.
