Boone with a master class on how to blow a game. Nestor Cortes? Seriously?

Boone is a moron. I can see why you guys hate him. Hill has been good and Boone goes with that schmuck who has not pitched in a month

Our crap fielding all year caught up to us with Cabrera not making the play on the grounder. Boone as usual with a million bad moves including not running berti for Rizzo in the 10th who would have been safe at 2nd

Nestor was just a brutal decision. Taking Cole out at 88 pitches was stupid. You’re telling me you would rather have Clay Holmes? What are you saving Tim Hill for?

Next game is a must win. Hard to see them coming from 0 and 2 with Judge sucking and Boone as a manager.

They needed to grab this game. Just too mistakes. From Judge not hitting to faulty defense to horrific pitching management.

Boone is the Mike McCarthy of baseball managers. I didn’t realize berti was left off the roster mess. Than I would have run Cabrera or even Grisham for Rizzo. Basically anyone would have beat the play at 2nd and Rizzo stopped running 15 feet from the base! WTF!

Just a terrible game to let get away. There’s no excuse to have a reliever Hill left in the pen so you can bring in a starter who hasn’t pitched in a month. Not in the damn World Series. It still boils down to the fact that this is not a series they can win if Judge is going to do nothing. It can’t all be on Stanton.

Imo, this one is on baBoone, as another one of his boneheaded pitching decisions.

Hill had given up just one earned run in seven appearances in the playoffs so far.
Cortes had been activated in the playoffs for the first time Friday morning, and he hadn't pitched since September 18th.

After the Yankees signed Hill on June 20, he had the second-highest ground ball rate in the majors at 69.9 percent.

    and-
Without Judge's contributions, this team isn't running on all cylinders, and any long term lack of offense from #99 spells:
    D-o-o-m-e-d for the Yankees.

The way he's flailing away, opposing pitchers don't need to throw him strikes at all, not if he continues to swing at constant garbage, low and outside by a foot or two!

Boone's mind numbing managing, coupled with shoddy defense, once again dooms this team.........Dodgers, in 5 games.

They have to try and win in spite of the manager. He can say anything he wants there’s absolutely no defense for what he did last night.
