Better grab your asbestos underwear! Actually, I half-way agree with you. My variation: package Sergio and Rudy for an upgrade at PG, and move Bayless to the back-up SG. While Webster has soom value as a designated 3-point shooter, his handles scare me.
Well, seeing as how his third season consisted of five minutes and 17 seconds, I wasn't willing to include it.
I can't get into this thread since we all know their will be a trade or a signing. We still have cap space, just not as much as we had hoped. KP with draft picks, salary cap space and young assets should make draft day interesting. I think we will not keep anybody we draft this year and end up with a vet.
At the forward spots we have Batum, Travis, Martell and LMA. If all are healthy I think we see more of Batum and Travis at the 4 next year. But the chance of one guy among the 4 being injured is more likely than not, and in that case we would have a good rotation. But if all 4 guys are healthy I expect to see Travis's role reduced next year. This year he has been a nice option to create when the team is depleted and the team needs offense. But next season I'd expect Oden and LMA to take more shots, as well as Rudy/Bayless. Having a complementary player who can play off the ball and space the floor could be more beneficial then having a player who needs the ball in his hands. So perhaps Batum starts next year and Martell takes some of Travis' minutes.
This is how I see it as well. For some reason though, I'm pretty confident there will be a trade or two this off-season that will affect our rotation.
