He may be available, but a lot of other good guys may be also. Maybe Newsome (cb) or ajeez-ojuluari? One guru thought they should trade up to 21 to get Newsome, so would be great if he was available. They will have some good choices.

They took Newsome; now I would try to trade up into the end of the first round if they can get JOK; offer their second and a third and a fourth. They would still have a third and fourth.

Not for me. I wanted Slater for the Vikings. Sadly, they had to trade down for an inferior O-line prospect.

I love people projecting players to the greatest player alive (at their respective positions).

    Hello darkness, my old friend
I wasn't projecting him to be Jerry Rice, I was saying he reminded me of Rice, in the way he looks on the field and plays.

I really like Darrishaw and think he could be one of the top 2 tackles out of this draft. The fact the Vikings were able to trade down, pick up two 3rds and STILL get him is a HUGE win. When he was still on the board for the Raiders, I was begging them to take him but I also knew they'd screw up somehow and they never fail to disappoint!

I honestly didn’t see your post or quote it. And though I did quote a post, it was more of a generic statement. Like, Walt Williams was drawing Magic Johnson comparisons before he’s ever played a game in the NBA. Not bashing anyone for such comparisons, I just find it funny (and I have done it myself, too).

The Wizard is to Magic as The Mitt is to The Glove.

Excited about that for sure. I mean, again, I know nothing, but seems like a solid prospect at the end of 1. Getting him late in 2, even with a trade up, I like.
