Lamar Jackson’s stats are unreal. But his three turnovers (two INT’s, one fumble) overshadow them, and cost his team the game (obviously).
Titans passing yards last week was 71 and 83 this week. The Henry Loco ran for over 180 yards in both postseason games. That reminded Dad of games during the 1970s.
Also why doesnt really look bad for Mariota, Tenn has become ground and pound, once in a while they hit a big play action play and Tannehill has a better arm than Mariota but its not like Tannehill is the reason they’re winning.
He does enough for their offense with his reads before the snap and he is doing it efficiently without turning the ball over. Titans run the classic run control offense with the Henry Loco as the focal point. I would not be surprised if the Titans focus on the running game again next year by drafting more offensive linemen and tight ends. Have more blockers to spell others when they need a rest. Rotating players in and out of the game as needed.
It is kind of a shock how much the Titans have improved since benching MM. So, is Marcus that big a loser - or did his team-mates sandbag him?
He's definitely one of the reasons.. I don't know how you can say he's not. If Mariota was playing they wouldn't be in this position. Tannehill is just better than Mariota at this point. He did throw for 2700 yards and 22 TDs in 12 games.
I have to disagree. The team plays better with Tannehill at QB...and that is the only stat that ultimately counts.
Titans only needed to trade 4th and 7th round picks for Tannehill. It looks like an absolute steal now. They started at 2-4 to begin the season and they just advanced to the AFC championship game.
They were in this round of the playoffs with Mariota like 2 years ago and won a game vs kc if I remember right.
He wasnt the running back breh. Just the placeholder so they had enough people to field a team. Lmao.
