^^^I recall on my first trip to NYC that I took the advice from some of the guys on the espn board to try a certain place...best damn pizza I ever had...also got to sample some real bagels while I was there...big difference between those and the ones I get down here in the grocery store...also bought some unbelievable chocolate in Manhattan. ...NY, coolest place I've ever experienced.
Ron the bagels here in the south are nasty as hell. After 45 years in NYC I have been spoiled now I have to get used to this shit. lol
Maybe you should move back to NY Lillie, besides you're to young to be living in a geriatric state. And Ron, I'm guessing you had "Rays original pizza" Best ever.
...for obvious reasons I could not bring back Pizza with me but I crammed as much sweets and bagels into my baggage as I could for the trip back home...had to be at least $100 worth...lol
...can't remember the name of the place for certain, Rick...but I do remember it being highly regarded by the board members back then...gotta find a way to make another trip up there.
Lillie spending some time in Florida & even living there for a short time I'm afraid your only chance for a half way decent pizza is (dare I say it) Pizza hut. But I'll check with my son, he loves pizza.
