Broncos are lucky bastards. Stole game from Raiders. The cowgirls showed these timid “giants” how to score TDS. Cowgirls shoved the Giant D all over the field and faked them out of their cletes. I have never seen more missed tackles in one game. As for the Giant O..........it plain sucks. Eli’s been sacked 6 times with 10 forced passes. For all the offensive talent at WR, they proved they are overrated and overpaid. Just pathetic performance all around. It looks like it’s going to be a long, losing year.
And here I thought the Cowboys and the Giants have been demoted to the NCAA ranks... Just like telling all my Braves Fan-buddies in Georgia in 1996 - 97 "it is never too late to become a Yankees fan".... It's never to late 4 NFL Fans to convert to surfing; riding the wave of the Crimson Tide... unless yer a Bull-Dawg fan, then that is acceptable as well...
^^^^^Bingo! The Cowgirls are nothing to write home about, and yet, they stymied the ‘Aints as if they are potential champs. Both teams are more like Chumps. The better chump beat the lesser one last night.
Everyone’s asking whatever happened to Pat Shurmur’s explosive offensive mind...... it’s really simple.....an “old” Eli and a terrible offensive line (how many years have we seen this old story?) are denying the offense a winning game. You would think that a new management team would rectify this situation. The way things are beginning this year along with untimely injuries to OL, the outlook does not look encouraging. Imagine, with a Beckham, a Barkley, a S Shepard on offense the TDs are rare.....so far.
As a kid, living in Shreveport from 67/69, I was the only Packers fan in the entire state of Luzianna; or so it seemed. Was always harassed and surrounded by Cowboy Fans, (harassed is a light term). I got my vindication after the Ice Bowl of Dec. 67; as my disdain for t/Cowboys only grew more intense. Needless to say, those young years only cemented or froze my loyalty to the Pack, until the Raiders moved to LA, as well as Joe Montana's entry into the NFL.... Other than the Fearsome 4-some, the Lambs flat out sucked. Super Bowl XIV created a mass exodus and vacum in LA for/of Lambs Fans.
Giants’ misfortune is usually their own doing. They rid themselves of 2 centermen.......Weston Richburg to 49er’s via free agency, and Brent Jones was traded to Vikings for that undisclosed ‘19 draft pick. That left team with untested depth at offensive line position. I am amazed how this team continually makes the same errors year after year.
Seems like the Giants have done with the Offensive Line, as the Cleveland Browns have done with an endless line of QB's....
