They have a punt block returned for a TD. So Carolina's defense has given up 10 points... not bad considering they've been picked twice. They haven't run the ball well. And Delhomme is struggling. And like Chutney said, I can't believe Gruden didn't stick with Garcia the entire time. He's clearly a better QB than Griese.
I would venture to say this WILL be the big difference today. AZ can't run the ball at all and they're not great at stopping it either. If we can get a solid game out of Romo and get Felix and Barber involved early and often, I see no reason why we can't win. I just hope our defense is ready for the task. At least we won't have to worry too much about stopping the run game and basically focus on pass defense.
They were winning, but they were winning ugly. Griese escaped a few games despite turning the ball over way too many times. I never understood the reasoning behind the move to change starters in the first place. Garcia is the perfect West Coast offense QB and he made that offense overachieve last season.
I wish fantasy football would factor in completion % for QB's. Drew Brees is ripping it right now. 22 for 25 with 225 yards and TD.
Btw, we are alone on this idea, many agree with us. Dolphins now in the red zone. They looked dead then BAM, they look awesome again.
So if people agree with you...doesn't that mean you're NOT alone on your idea...just a thought. Drew Brees has been money today. 22/25 and a TD now. Matt Ryan has continued to do well as well, 16/22 for 183yds against a damn good Bears defense. If only they could find a way to punch it in the EZ instead of settling for FGs every time.
Chicago's offense is moving now. See if they can get a TD instead of the all-field goal game we are getting.
Well, they're a lot better than I ever expected. I think stability at the QB has really helped them out. Pennington has been rock solid this year and is having himself a hell of a game right now, too.
And there's still 24 minutes left to play. Poor Dissonance. edit: and that was a really patient run by Forte on the 4th down conversion
And Drew Brees continues his dominance of the Raiders. Just threw another TD pass, this time to Bush, that being Reggie's second TD of the game.
No Shockey, no Colston, no problem. Brees has hit 9 different receivers. He's just dissecting that defense.
Not going to lie, the team doing the Bears-Falcons game is good. I know there names but too lazy to put them on here.
