I find it hilarious that some Charger fans are being critical of Merriman for not getting the major surgery in February. He had been playing with the injury since his rookie year and he had been absolutely fine playing with it. Why would he get the surgery when it wasn't necessary at the time? Charger fans need to realize that Merriman is the heart and soul of our defense; he is our vocal leader; he is our fucking back bone. They should be ashamed that another player can't step up. They shouldn't be criticizing Merriman or calling him selfish.
