Ravens slam the door shut. Indy should handle Baltimore pretty easily. Flacco isn't going to be able to hand off all game to his RB's and expect to win.
For as "Great" as the Jets' defense is, I'm not that impressed outside of Revis. They gave up 30 points to the Dolphins, twice... They've got a terrible pass rush, despite how much they blitz. Revis is physical, but short. He's the best CB in football, but can he out-jump Vincent Jackson, who is 6'5 and a solid 230lbs of muscle? Even if he does, they won't be able to stop Gates and Floyd. They love to blitz, which should leave the door wide open to dump it off to Sproles all game long. SD has arguably the most potent air attack in the league, they'll put Mark Sanchez in a position where he'll have to beat them through the air. My prediction? SD wins 34, 14.
I think the Jets will be a tough opponent for you. They have the best D in the league and have a great running attack. Those 2 things usually amount to great playoff success.
They might be. I don't know, I can't imagine their D shutting down our offense, though. Revis is solid, but Sheppard is not that good. With all the blitzes they run, Sproles should have a field day with the screen plays and for all the blitzes they run, they generally don't generate that much of a pass rush. Their running game will be effective if its a close game or if they get a lead early, but if we can jump out early and force Sanchez to throw the ball, I think it'll be a cake walk.
so Patriots, end of the dynasty? they didn't have Welker right? maybe he does make all the difference.
So with Moss out of the playoffs, The next player I would most like to see win a championship is LT. so... go Chargers.
And GB with another turnover. GB's season is over, they are not winning this. You can't turn the ball over and expect to win.
That dagger that was stabbed into my heart last night, from the Hawks blowing a 5-1 lead to lose, is getting shoved in some more today...
