Any other player wouldve had surgery right away. Plus how can you count a season that he was suspended in? He had 6 td's in 8 games which means he was going toward another TO season.
How can you say T.O. is overpaid? Do you know where the Eagles would be without him? Lets go back to last years Super Bowl shall we? McNabb was the one who choked not T.O. T.O. came back from a broken leg faster than most players would and had a fenominal game against a great Pats defense. So where would the Eagles be without T.O.? Nowhere. The Eagles have no other receivers except for an up and coming TE. They also don't have a running game which means they always rely on the pass.
The Eagles were in the playoffs before TO. Your making it sound like the Eagles were the worst team in the NFL and that TO was our savior and he made us a contender. The eagles were just pieces away from a 'ship. They even won 2 playoff games with TO out. Eagles are going to run the ball more and you forgot to mention Pinkston and Reggie Brown who are very capable of catching balls especially from a pro-bowler.
The Eagles wasn't the worst team in the NFL when TO wasn't there but come no man, the Eagles when the won they went to those NFC Championships, the NFC was WEAK! The NFC was WEAK! And in those Championships game, the two teams that was playing was the ONLY good teams in the NFC. So it wasn't like the Eagles where beating good teams when they were on the three champions runs before TO. It wasn't like the Redskins, Giants and Cowboys are what they are now. All of the NFC teams were struggling. Now if the Eagles make it this year than Eagles fans get all the props in the world. But if you took those so-called good Eagles teams that went to the Championship in the division now, there is no way you would make it. And I'm not hating but just stating the facts that the NFC and not to mention the NFC East was at it's lowest point when you guys went to those NFC Champions. And in each of those years there was only two or maybe three good teams playing...

He's making the league minimum and he's the 3rd receiver. Unlike Springs who's a starter and making top money for top corners when he's not. I mean he's good but not top for that kind of money.

The Panthers were also a good team but we shouldve won the game and the game against the Giants also. I admit the eagles choked but we shouldnt be saying that TO is a huge savior just because he came back to a game that we lost. If he was so great then we wouldve won. The NFC did have some good teams. The Packers, Bucs, Falcons, and others. Dont say it was a very low competitive league because it wasnt. And please dont say that the NFC east teams this year are better than 2 years ago Eagles team. I'd put money on the Eagles for that case.
