You mean the big round sourdough loaf of bread, where they carve out the center for that Chowdah, and eat the whole danged loaf of bread too???? May I have a 6th helping please???? Shit imagine if MLB had a Team in Southern Luzianna, tho' Houston is not far, but no culture compares in adding poundge, and tons of lard cholestrol, better than the Cajuns/Creoles. Hell I dropped 74 lbs, once I got back to organic alfalfa eating Caly-Fornians....!!! Thus Pablo has gained at least those extra 75 lbs; sad thing is he will continue to ballon up, until his gig is up, and he can't bend over to field a ground ball.......another Montero situation, like the old fights b/t Ditka, and Perry, Da Bears...!
Winner. In the midst of all this, my apologies for you to have to bear the indignity of a beloved Giant wearing that abomination of a Sox uniform.
Meanwhile, if the Redsox don't add a good SP I don't quite seeing them winning those 88 games predicted by those "optimistic" analytical websites.
Yeah like the Giants won 88 games last year with basically one pitcher. And less offense then the Red Sox have this season. anything can happen.
Jesus Montero all over again, or shades of William Refrigerator Perry showing up over weight every ..... "After winter ball, all I did was eat."
Except for maybe Tommy Lasorda's Slim Fast commercials, of how that shit sludges ones guts. Funny cuz when Lasorda quit the Slim Fast, he ballooned up bigger than ever.... I once read, how Weight Watchers and other diet plans, (tho' I've seen legit incidents of one guy, who in fact lost 280 lbs on that overpriced fiber paper diet)...... The Diet plan, has atheletes, quit their off season work outs for 2 months, tell them to eat all they want of all the wrong things.....then show a before pic (off of their reg routine workouts), then return to their regular workouts, for that After Photo...... I know Marino said as much, Shula too, and quit a few other guinea pigs, who were spokespersons, only for the $$$ as their commercials had nothing to do with their weight loss, a bunch of Frauds......shit that means Alex will be a WW spokesman soon, being a Fraud.
The giants had big issues with panda a few different times, even going so far as calling him out publically repeatedly for his conditioning. If you remember, he was benched for the postseason in 2010, they never really treated him with kid gloves. Also why they never extended him, there was a thought that as soon as he got big money, he would stop working out. Guess we will see.
...the Giants offered Sandoval essentially the same contract the Red Sox signed him for...IMO, he'll eventually regret not staying in SF.
"LOL, guess we will see?".....? I think we've already seen Sandovals, lack of Self-Discipline at the breakfast/lunch & Dinner Table. It's this type of unbridled lack of self-discipline, that made Lombardi a Iconic Epic Giant, for those with no self-control.....he'd put his boots up a players ass, if they dared to show up looking like the Pig, I mean Bear Sandoval is....~~!! Great players rarely if ever, need Disciplined on or off the fields, or on their own time. Obviously Panda does have Panda Bear DNA. Not sure if it were his Mom, or Dad, that climbed in the cage at the Frisco Zoo. Shit it may of been both of his parents.....!
I expect literally NOT ONE good thing for the Bosox by signing the tub of lard, I don't see Hanley turing himself around either. Both have poor discipline in many areas, on or off the field. If Carl Crawford, and Adrian Gonzalez could not capitalize on the Green Monster or Short Porch, I really doubt either Panda or Hanley can hit a buck 50....! The best thing to happen to both Carl and Adrian was to get the Hell out of Bean Town....! The worst thing to happen in both Panda's and Ramirez's careers will be to play in Boston....!
Panda was the heart of a very successful giants team, and a playoff performer. A huge jovial personality, so I think he steps into big papis shoes pretty nicely in that regard, all his teammates loved him. He's always had a problem with his conditioning, but it hasn't necessarily hampered his production much much...to a point, if he has gained weight and continues to do so, it could be rough going
Are you sure he was the "heart" of that Team? I'd say Panda was more the big gut or oversized buttocks, gluteus maximus of the 015 Giants. He will be even more of the non-face of the Bosox this year, if he remains this far out of shape, then he too will continue to be the butt of all jokes, and/or busted double plays, and other balls hit in the Thunder Alley Holes.....!
No it didn't, you're assuming their "improved" offense with the additions of Hanley and Pablo will help overcome any pitching shortcomings they may have...... ....but of course this doesn't apply for any bounce back performances by a couple of Yankee hitters. Did I get it right? Dam right I did....lmao!
