I love "The Answer". It's perfect. It's really well-known, too. If you're talking about The Answer, people know who it is. I think it's every bit as good as the old school nicknames. Well, except Magic, but that was different. You'd never hear someone call him Earvin.
In Phoenix we called Jason Kidd "J.Kidd" now we just called him "Wife-beat-ah" -- I forgot about one of my favorite modern day nicknames, somebody posted Dirk's nickname, but I love hearing "That was RE-DIRK-ULOUS!" that and "Vince-anity" are cool, anytime you add a player's name into a word, it's gotta be good I do believe we've all yet to mention some of these... "Mighty Mouse" "The Admiral" "Zo" "The Croatian Sensation" "The Mailman" "The Dream" Clyde "The Glyde" Wilt "The Stilt" I'm sure most of you know who each is, so I won't waste my time... but I gotta say I do enjoy the older nicknames myself, but they did have the opprotunity first so they got some of the cooler ones. It's just like boxing, all the great boxers took the great names, now guys are rehashing them or coming up with junk names. "The Truth" is overused, not just Paul Pierce uses it. I remember a few rookies coming out in the last few years claiming that nickname as well, plus I'm sure high school and college kids are taking it as well now.
Not the Admiral, lots of people mentioned him. It's so befitting of him, one of the greatest team leaders. How about duos everybody? e.g. Olajuwon and his buddy, the first of the "Two Towers". Gotta love the name "Doctor J." it just screams mad offensive skills.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting OgShowtime:</div><div class="quote_post">Yep, all caps, BOLD, bright lettering - <font color="Red">DOMINIQUE</font> I'm sure that was an oversight by WMCJ....I hope it was!</div> ahhhh jeez what am i talking about?? :thumbsdow .. i was doin this and just whatever popped into my head i wrote down, after i typed it up i realized that human highlight film was dominique.
