There is a kid from CENTENNIAL playing in the Nike Hoop Summit....with some of the best kids in the world? Future NBA stars? How in the hell did this kid who I've never even heard of get into this game? Phil Knight's grandson?

Well you can cheer for some OSU signees if you want. If there are any. Of course, I doubt they will look as good as they will in this game.
Once they go to the Bark Rats, Tinkle will unteach them the basic fundamentals of basketball.

.... Or root for Gonzaga's future stars.

As a Parkrose alum, I echo your disdain for Centennial.

Whatevs. We have Ethan Thompson joining us next year and Tinkle was out most of the year, our best player.

But hey, our baseball team is #1, when was the last time you guys won a championship in a sport that even matters? :)

Reynolds alum. Which has made it fun to follow Drew Eubanks at OSU evolve. Dude needs to go back to osu for at least another year before he sniffs getting drafted.

Surprisingly, i rooted for Freddie Jones from Barlow even though he was tainted from the ducks.

And college baseball is a sport that matters? Checked the annual TV ratings for the playoffs in Omaha? Nobody gives a shit. But much respect to Pat Casey, great coach. Also loved seeing Andrew Checketts get to the CWS last year, we wen't to school together.

They should have gotten rid of it in the first place. But then again, college baseball is so important it's the first sport universities usually axe.
So hard to believe that it MATTERS. I did think it sucked they got rid of the wrestling team at UO though. But I would rather have a baseball team.

Unfortunately it is.....if you have time to fall asleep at it, not miss anything during said nap and there aren't any whistles, it ain't a sport FAMS. America's pastime my ass.

I'm saying there is drop off in interest in the college version as stand alone sports. College baseball is the equivalent of what D league basketball is to the NBA. Yeah it exists, but the interst is there for a select few.

Ugh. Listen, baseball is my fav sport and I love it. But most fans follow the minors, because that's where the players they will see in the future are. I think the CWS is fun though.

Not saying I dont disagree with you. I am not a big fan of baseball. Still is considered one of the most popular sports today in America.

Why though. Stadiums are EMPTY across this great land of ours. How can it be considered popular? Just because it was in 1920 in Chicago?
