I don’t believe that’s their plan. I think it’s a Hail Mary if it comes to that

No I mean as a free agent. I think Dame has been recruiting him.

If the plans was to do this in addition to keeping #3 I'm fine with it. Trade for OG or DeRozen or something. Sign Naz Reid or Bruce Brown. But keep freaking #3!!!! I'll be so pissed if we trade it away for more years of mediocrity.

So sign him for the MLE?

    Or do we cut Grant?

I don't see why Green would take the MLE. Houston or Spurs or something would at the least give him a one year max offer if he can't agree on a warriors deal. They might say they'll trade him to a team of his choice a few months later in December.

I'm thinking Leonard or George. They have the name brand that would make Dame lovers happy. Both older, Both discussed years previously when they were available. George not really discussed this year except one tweet. Kawhi only averaging a little over 50 games in last 4 years and is 31. George playing even less games and is 33, so I would hope for Kawhi.
Need Simons and Nurk going out plus maybe another contract so we could get Zubac back. They have #30 and #48 this year and not much in the future.

It's made more difficult but the fact we have so few players signed to tradeable contracts.

Yeah that's what happens when you spend 3 years pinching pennies but selling it as "gaining flexibility".... It's the opposite Blazers have little flexibility today to add win now players.

Main fork in the road that got us on this stupid path was the horrific Clippers trade.

I'd have to think long and hard about how I'd feel about a 3/Ant/Nurk for Kawhi deal.

What does "Pro-Dame" mean? Meaning wanting to keep him? Because I'm pretty sure that pretty much every single Blazer fan is "Pro-Dame"
Look, I don't know who we're acquiring or who we're sending out, but I'm FURIOUS!!!!!

    Also hearing a secondary conversation.

The basis of this would make me think this is in place if they do pick Scoot. Not too hard to guess who that would involve.

Yeah don't think I like it, but at least if Kawhi is healthy there is legit contending upside. Not sure between him and Zion who is more likely to be healthy.

So you mean if they pick and keep Scoot? In that case I assume you mean Ant is being dealt.

I don't think Blazers are going to explore any hypotheticals if Dame trades. Only so many discussions they can have in the next two days, and all focus is on drafting player or trading for vets.
