Is it time to start talking about what a steal this was by Olshey? This could go down being the best move this organization has made in the last decade. We aren't sure how Batum is going to look on the Hornets. I personally have doubts, not so much about Nico, but the Hornets organization. They made Born Ready look garbage, and I think he is going to have an amazing bounce back with the Clippers. I think Nico would be best off taking less money to play with the Spurs along side LA, TP, and Diaw. Then with Vonleh I think you get a player who you might not even know what his ceiling is yet. I honestly think he could end up being a better player than Aldridge was for us.
His face-up game and ability to take his man off the dribble at his size. Vonleh also has range out to 3pt.
I think it's a pretty good indicator. It's not like it was when they had celebs playing in the games and bo outlaw was dropping 50 points. I think it has slowly been improving every year and now teams really take it seriously. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
OMG!! we have a guy who should have been a number 1 pick this year!!1 ABORT TANKING PLAN NEIL, WE'RE GOING FOR DAT NUMBER ONE SPOT!!!!11 /blazers fan super hype mode
Some blazers fans, well before last night, felt that tanking for a high pick this year was already unnecessary, and perhaps even counterproductive.
I feel like you can watch SL and only take away players' skill sets or tangible attributes. The only reason I don't value effort or hustle as high as others in the SL is because most of the guys here are desperate for roster spots/desperate to impress and therefore hustle anyway. Things like positioning and shooting touch are probably better indicators of potential.... This being said it's ALWAYS better to look good than bad though, and if hustle gets you there then so be it
