Don't need him to resign. Just need him to kick the team's asses for not playing defense, and to knock Dame and CJ down in practice.

Won't happen though, Ezeli has guaranteed money next year.

No one in the Blazers organization has said we're tanking, only prognosticators. Assuming we did not re-sign him, it would save us $1M next year. Would be great to take him for a test run.

$1M isn't a big deal to a team below the salary floor. If we had $1M in cash, we could send them that, but I think we've used us most of our allowed "cash considations."

Shipping Leonard to Philly for Bogut would be an amusing way to dump salary.

Yeah but he has been hurt again this year . Even if he played well for us, is it wise to overpay to keep him? And you know we would have to. And you know he would get hurt again.....because he always does.

The First Noel, the Olshey did say,
we're into the luxury tax, so we can't pay.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
Are You Being Served? was one of the most played "British comedies" here on PBS. Fortunately, there were also good ones like Yes, (Prime) Minister and Black Adder. I also really liked Piglet Files, but I don't know how well-known that was even in England.

They save more money in a buyout and it's being reported the Mavs are actually going to be the ones paying off the rest of his contract...

It wouldn't matter if we re-signed Bogut this summer because we're paying luxury tax anyway, right? The trick would be not triggering the first LT hit for this season, because of the increasingly stiff penalties for repeat LT hits...

Depends. If Crabbe and/or Leonard is traded by the draft then that is a sign that POR isn't ok with paying the Luxury tax next year.

As it stands, we'll be in the luxury tax next year. Things change, we're not resigned to that fate yet. An offseason Crabbe deal can easily get us out.

I'd actually prefer to see him go to CLE and see CLE beat GSW in the finals again. That would be sweet revenge for Bogut. His injury in the finals last year was the biggest reason why CLE was able to come back from down 3-1 and win that series. Without Bogut, the last three games of that series became a lay up drill for LeBron and company as they outscored GSW by an average of 17 pts in the paint per game in those three games. After landing Durant, I'd love to see GSW get upset again in the finals and if Bogut helps CLE do so, that would be great cosmic, and karmic, retribution.

Also, I don't want to see Bogut go to BOS. In fact, I'd love to see Bogut go to CLE and both Jimmy Butler and Paul George traded anywhere but BOS. I'd love to see that shit weasel Danny Ainge left hold his own dick at a trade deadline orgy while his rivals get better and his team doesn't.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
I never saw Father Ted on TV. A Swedish friend of mine recommended it, so I downloaded the series--not bad.

One Foot in the Grave and Last of the Summer Wine were pretty good shows. I've never seen or heard of My Hero. One that I forgot to mention that I liked quite a bit was Chef, but I think Rasta once told me that Chef was one of Lenny Henry's lesser known projects.

You have to admit that Ainge did a masterful job rebuilding from that "big three" team.

He completely fleeced BRK and their naive new owner. Plus, Billy King was their GM. Not a fair fight! Billie Jean King would have been a better GM. At least she has a history of out maneuvering cocky, old white guys.

Ainge has done well, but I wouldn't say masterful considering what he was handed.
