A great example of why a complete rebuild will never work in Portland. Can you imagine the teams who have been in the lottery for years? Both the Kings and Clippers have gone 15 straight years without making the playoffs at one time. (Kings string is current)
I feel a great disturbance in The Force, but I can't quite make it out. It's as if that guy I have on ignore is trying to communicate.
Probably don't like Portland. Especially when we haven't had much success since they've been here. They have two superstars. We only have one. If their superstars are healthy they have a shot at a title. Especially with Norm and Covington there.
Guys say all the right things about Portland and its fans ... because they know how sensitive this lot is ... but they're always happy to go elsewhere.
still fuming over this idiotic move. why did it need to be done one week before the deadline when no other moves are being made?
Exactly. Why the big rush for such a shit trade. Why settle for that? Teams now know they can fleece us. Such a rookie move. Maybe cap guy was the right role for him. General managing a pro sports team has an element of poker involved. Calling bluffs. Waiting for the other to blink.
The big rush was to set us up for the next trade. At least wait and see what it is before sky falling.
Don't you get it? Another team will have seen we got taken to the cleaners, and out of the goodness of their hearts, they will feel bad for us and let us take them to the cleaners on a trade. That is NBA 101! If this were true, why not do a three way trade?
Then don't make the deal. It was an awful trade for us to make. The risk you take not making it a three way is you are stuck with Bledsoe and you just made the worst trade of the year.
